Validity Magazine announced today the addition of Aerowave Networks to the list of sponsors for the approaching sold-out concert at the Strand Theatre on Saturday, April 12 at 7 p.m. The support of Aerowave Networks and sponsors, Oliver Companies and Tommy L. and Joan Graham, is vital to the success of the upcoming event, which benefits the Hohenwald location of the Davis House Child Advocacy Center, serving children who are victims of sexual and/or severe physical abuse.
Aerowave Networks and The Oliver Companies are locally owned and operated in Hohenwald. The Grahams are long time business owners from Linden. For information on sponsorships, please call Publisher Becky J. Newbold at 931-628-6039.
The April 12 event features Kenny Durham, local singer/songwriter, Lee Thomas Miller, Davis House board member and songwriter, and the Redhead Express, a four sister band from Columbia, TN.
Increasing awareness of the Davis House Child Advocacy Center is the purpose of the event, which hopes to raise donations for a good cause. Davis House provides a healing environment for local children who have suffered sexual and/or severe physical abuse while they are being investigated. Davis House participates in the state-mandated Child Protective Investigation Team as it looks into cases of reported child abuse.
Funds raised at this year’s Validity Concert Series event will support the Hohenwald location of the Davis House Child Advocacy Center at 21 Smith Avenue. The Hohenwald location served 152 new children in the counties of Lewis, Perry and Hickman last year. Kids that have to visit the Davis House are helped at no cost to them or their families.
