Serves 2 as main course, 4 as appetizer
Ingredients:
1-1 ½ lb organic grass fed chicken wings
1 large garlic clove
1/2 teaspoon coarse salt, plus more to taste
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
1 tablespoon mild honey
1 teaspoon Asian sesame oil
Dash – 1 teaspoon Sriracha hot sauce (depending on your preference)
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
Instructions:
- Heat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Combine garlic, salt, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, honey, sesame oil and sriracha in large bowl. Coat raw wings in sauce, using a basting brush if necessary. Use all of the sauce. If there is some leftover in the bowl, you can pour it evenly on the wings.
- On a pan coated with oil or covered with a non-stick mat, lay wings at least 1 inch apart. Sprinkle with the sesame seeds.
- Place in middle oven rack for 33 minutes, turning once about halfway through.
