Overnight oats are perfect for quick mornings when making traditional oatmeal is not an option. Don’t forget to make them the night before, as they are best after soaking for 8 hours!
Basic Overnight Oat Mixture
½ cup rolled oats
3/4 cup milk of your choice
1 tablespoon chia seeds
Instructions:
- Combine and stir ingredients in a jar or covered bowl. Combine with any other oatmeal toppings you like. Place overnight in refrigerator. Enjoy the next morning.
Almond Joy Brownie-Batter Overnight Oats
½ cup rolled oats
3/4 cup almond milk
1 tablespoon chia seeds
1 tablespoon almond butter
Chocolate protein powder (optional)
½ tsp cinnamon
1 mashed banana
1 tablespoon cocoa or cacao powder
1 tbsp flaked coconut
Chopped peanuts for topping
Instructions:
- Combine all ingredients, stir well, place in refrigerator overnight. Enjoy!
